We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager with a comprehensive Knowledge in the banking, agriculture Sectors and automotive industry. The Candidate will be pivotal in driving sales and market share in your assigned region, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring the successful execution of sales initiatives. The ideal candidate must deeply understand the competitive landscape and market structure in the agricultural machinery industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field
Experience: Proven experience in regional sales and sales management
Budget: Open to Level of Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the region, aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Continuously analyze the market, including competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends, to identify opportunities and threats.
- Lead and motivate the regional sales team, providing coaching, training, and support to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors to understand their needs and preferences.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets for the region, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
- Stay updated on the latest tractor and agricultural equipment innovations, ensuring the team has a deep understanding of our products and their advantages over competitors.
- Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and demand in the region.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide actionable feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Ensure that all sales activities in the region adhere to company policies and ethical standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the companys competitive positioning across diverse markets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field
- Proven track dealing with farmers, also a track record as a Sales Manager in both the
banking and agriculture sectors, - Sound knowledge of banking products/services and agricultural practices, markets,and trends.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, essential for effective engagement across sectors.
- Analytical mindset, leveraging data insights to make informed decisions.
- Result-driven with a proactive approach toward achieving organizational objectives.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
