Position: Telesales Agent 



Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for generating company revenue by closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.
Providing exceptional customer lifecycle management with revenue growth that ensures profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling to ensure weekly customer reordering
  • Upsell customer orders using a list of curated focus products
  • Push a product mix to customers to ensure wider basket coverage
  • Activation of newly onboarded/launched products and services
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, and interests.
  • Any other lawful duties assigned.

This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, building high-performing teams, and establishing strong client relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s sales vision and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear sales targets, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Create and implement sales incentive programs to drive motivation and performance.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Revenue Generation:

  • Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Lead the sales team in prospecting, qualifying, and closing high-value deals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships and alliances to drive business growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales leadership roles, preferably in the logistics or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
